Job Title: Purchasing & Category Executive (Pharmacist)

About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated Pharmacist to join our team as a Purchasing & Category Executive. This role combines purchasing, stock planning, supplier coordination, and category development, with a strong focus on supporting sales growth and enhancing product knowledge across branches.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in purchasing products based on consumption, sales data, and stock levels.
- Support in preparing order quantities using sales analysis and required coverage days.
- Follow up with suppliers on quotations, orders, and delivery timelines.
- Coordinate with accounts for invoice validation and payment follow-ups.
- Monitor stock levels and highlight out-of-stock and slow-moving items.
- Support product distribution to branches (Replenishment).
- Assist in managing expiry items, returns, and stock re-allocation between branches.
- Coordinate with suppliers for promotions, deals, and marketing support.
- Assist in listing new products and evaluating supplier offers.
- Work closely with E-commerce and IT teams to ensure accurate product listing and updates.
- Support in preparing reports for sales, stock, and performance analysis.
Training & Sales Support:
- Support in organizing and coordinating product training sessions for branch staff.
- Work with suppliers to prepare training materials and product knowledge content.
- Help improve the sales team’s knowledge of products, key selling points, and cross-selling techniques.
- Follow up with branches to ensure proper understanding and execution after training.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (Pharmacist is a must).
- 1–3 years’ experience in Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Pharmacy Retail
- Strong Excel skills (Formulas and basic data analysis).
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and follow-up skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
- Attention to detail is a must.
Preferred:
- A UAE-licensed pharmacist is a plus.
- Experience in OTC, skincare, and pharmacy retail products.
- Familiarity with ERP systems or Power BI.
